Just rewards for DCS Europe

Enable is delighted to share the success story of one of its key partner clients by highlighting a remarkable period of recognition for distributor DCS Europe.

The company has been named in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table of Britain's leading mid-market private companies with the biggest sales. DCS ranked at number 220 with sales of £148.4 million.

The business was also given prominent place in the Design Council's special report Leading Business by Design, which sought to explore the current and potential role of design in business and education in collaboration with Warwick Business School.

DCS was one of just four SMEs involved in the study that interviewed companies to get their viewpoint on the role of design in business, their investment in it and the financial and non-financial impact of their design philosophy.

In conclusion, the report stated that DCS Europe's "emphasis on design and innovation and the creation off a recognised brand have ensured DCS's survival and growth since its inception and set it apart from its competitors."

Quoted in the report, DCS Europe's Chairman and CEO Denys Shortt OBE added: "Everything we do here is entrepreneurial, everything we do is about growing sales… I've actually poured creativity, design and innovation as a wrapper around the whole business".
